Rise of the Guardians Movie Review

Duration: 97 mins
Genre: Animation, Adventure, Family
Starring: Chris Pine, Hugh Jackman, Alec Baldwin, Isla Fisher

Every so often my boyfriend and I would opt for going out on the town to cuddling on the sofa and watching a good movie. Recently we’ve been watching a lot of animation type films, and last month we watched Rise of the Guardians.

This movie is about a kid named Jack Frost (soon to be fantasy super hero) who doesn’t believe in himself and what he can bring to the world. He appears alongside with his three other fantasy hero characters: Santa Clause, The Tooth Fairy, and the Easter Bunny. The purpose of the movie is to keep the childlike imagination, especially while you grow up. There’s a bad guy who tries to steal imagination away from these children until one day only one child in the entire world is left to believe in the magic of imagination.

This is a very fun, cute family style movie and it is sure to please anyone at any age. I enjoyed watching this movie more than Hotel Transylvania because the story made more sense. In Hotel Transylvania although the movie did make sense, there were too much extra voice actors which made it slightly confusing.

I would recommend this to families with young children, or even grown ups who are young at heart! 😀
