The other day my boyfriend and I were at the Metrotown area and didn’t want to eat at the food court, so we decided to walk over to Cattle Cafe on Kingsway.
Though it’s very conveniently located, there is hardly any parking if any. You can park at the apartment buildings behind them but I think the garage closes for commercial parking early evening.
We usually like to order their noodle combo as you can make your own combination with many different options. It was a cold wintery day so I chose the Sze Chuan Beef Briskets & Enoki Mushroom Hotpot (Spicy). If you don’t like eating too spicy, you can always call for it to be less spicy.

My boyfriend chose the noodle combo with pig intestines and beef briskets (I think). The portions are generous and they always add in extra toppings on top of the two toppings you order.
For an additional $1.50 you can get a small plate of teriyaki chicken as appetizer.
Overall, Cattle Cafe is a great place to go for a quick bite. It gets really busy during dinner hours, and the seatings are cramped a little. If you go after 6pm Fridays and weekends, be prepared to wait outside for a seat.
We usually keep ordering the same things, but I would like to go back and try new things from their menu!
